WAGNER Group GmbH has acquired a majority stake in A.F.I. Solutions, a fire protection company based in Saint Ouen l’Aumône, Greater Paris, France, as part of its strategic European expansion. A.F.I. Solutions, with 16 years of experience in the French market, offers a wide range of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, water spray, foam, gas, and powder extinguishing systems, as well as custom-built solutions. The company, with 29 employees, will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary under the A.F.I. Solutions brand for the time being.
Torsten Wagner, Managing Director and shareholder of WAGNER Group GmbH, highlighted the importance of this acquisition as part of the company’s WAGNER.2026 growth strategy, which focuses on international expansion. “France, as the third largest economy in Europe, is a key market for us. A.F.I. Solutions brings a strong market position and shares the same values as our family-owned business, making it a perfect fit,” said Wagner.
Jérôme Menard, the owner of A.F.I. Solutions, will remain on board as Managing Director and minority shareholder. He expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential for growth: “With WAGNER’s support, we will continue to operate our existing business while gradually integrating its’s broader portfolio of solutions to offer more services to our French customers.”
The integration of A.F.I. Solutions into the Group will be actively supported from it’s headquarters in Langenhagen, Germany, with a dual management structure in place, similar to other company subsidiaries.
With this acquisition, the company now has subsidiaries in 15 countries, further enhancing its ability to provide localized fire protection services worldwide. The WAGNER Group, founded in 1976, is a leader in fire protection technology, with more than 700 patents and a reputation for innovation in fire detection, prevention, and extinguishing systems.
A.F.I. Solutions, established in 2008, initially focused on manufacturing fire protection equipment before expanding into system development, installation, and maintenance in 2014. The partnership with WAGNER will allow the French company to enhance its offerings and continue its growth trajectory.
