WAGNER Group GmbH has once again been recognized for its strong commitment to research and development. The Research Allowance Certification Authority (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage – BSFZ) has confirmed that the company’s ongoing R&D projects are eligible for funding, awarding WAGNER the prestigious BSFZ seal for a second time. The fire protection specialist first received this certification in 2022.
The BSFZ seal serves as official proof that WAGNER’s innovation efforts meet the rigorous standards set out in the Research Allowance Act, and confirms that its projects are focused on forward-thinking, impactful solutions. The independent assessment also grants legal entitlement to tax incentives under Germany’s national R&D funding program.
Barbara Möller, Head of Innovation & Knowledge at WAGNER, expressed her appreciation:
“Receiving the BSFZ seal once again is both recognition and motivation. It confirms our commitment to shaping the future of fire protection through innovative ideas and sustainable development. I extend my sincere thanks to all colleagues whose expertise and dedication are driving our research forward.”
In addition to the BSFZ recognition, WAGNER has been ranked among Germany’s TOP 100 most innovative medium-sized enterprises. This distinction, based on a scientific evaluation process, highlights the strength of WAGNER’s innovation management and its role as a reliable partner for advanced fire protection solutions.
Both recognitions strengthen the company’s profile not only as a technology leader but also as an attractive employer. They underline WAGNER’s commitment to fostering a workplace where innovation is encouraged and R&D initiatives are actively supported.
The Research Allowance is a federal tax incentive program offered by the German Ministry of Finance to support in-house research and development activities across all sectors and company sizes. More information is available on the official BSFZ website (German only).
