Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has secured a new contract to develop a 300 MW AC / 435 MW DC ground-mounted solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order, valued at more than ₹345 crore, was awarded by a major domestic renewable energy firm. The project is expected to be completed during the 2025–26 financial year.
The contract includes full EPC responsibilities: engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant. A modern 33/220 kV pooling substation will also be built as part of the project. Robotic cleaning systems will be deployed to help maintain efficiency and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Sunil Rathi, Executive Director at WRTL, commented on the development: “This project highlights our capabilities in project execution and technical design. We appreciate the continued trust placed in us by our partners and look forward to delivering a successful outcome.”
WRTL has a track record of more than 2.32 GW in completed solar EPC installations and is currently working on an additional 3.2 GW of ongoing projects. This latest contract strengthens the company’s role in India’s solar energy sector.
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited is part of the Waaree Group and leads the group’s solar EPC operations. Headquartered in Mumbai, WRTL develops solar projects for industrial, commercial, and individual clients, offering both on-site installations and off-site solar plants.
