Waaree Energies Ltd., will supply 900 MW of modules for a major solar power plant in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This project, one of India’s largest, is a partnership with Serentica Renewables India Private Limited.
The delivery of Waaree’s Top-Con bifacial modules will run from August 2024 to February 2025. Sunil Rathi, Director of Sales at Waaree, said this project shows their commitment to innovation in renewable energy and will help create jobs and promote clean energy.
Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica, praised Waaree’s quality and reliability, expressing confidence in the project’s success.
Waaree will handle the manufacturing, testing, packing, and transport of the modules, ensuring high quality and timely completion. This project will boost the region’s renewable energy capacity, reduce carbon emissions, and support environmental sustainability as India pursues its green energy goals.
Waaree Energies, founded in 1990, is India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer, with a total installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023. The company aims to provide quality, cost-effective sustainable energy solutions and reduce the carbon footprint.
