Volkswagen India has partnered with the Centre’s Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) scheme to make its range of vehicles available to personnel of central security agencies and their families. This collaboration involves Volkswagen India offering its entire lineup of cars to beneficiaries of the KPKB scheme across the nation. Initiated in 2006 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the KPKB scheme caters to both active and retired members of the Central Armed Police Forces, along with their families.

The primary goal of this partnership is to expand the accessibility of Volkswagen‘s car portfolio, providing beneficiaries with access to high-quality mobility solutions at an even more affordable price point, according to the company’s official announcement. Volkswagen’s product lineup in India includes the mid-size sedan Virtus, the sports utility vehicle Taigun, and the premium SUV Tiguan. The KPKB scheme covers a wide range of security forces, including the Border Security Forces, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, and Indo-Tibetan Border Force, among others. Additionally, the scheme extends its benefits to personnel from State Police Forces, the Railway Protection Force, the Intelligence Bureau, the Special Protection Group, the National Crime Records Bureau, and the National Investigation Agency.

The collaboration between Volkswagen India and the KPKB scheme aligns with the brand’s motto to offer top-notch mobility solutions to a broader audience. By extending its vehicles to the personnel and families associated with central security agencies, Volkswagen aims to contribute to the enhancement of their overall quality of life. The KPKB scheme has been instrumental in supporting the well-being of security personnel and their families for over a decade. By partnering with Volkswagen India, the scheme now adds a reliable and renowned automotive brand to its offerings, ensuring that beneficiaries can avail themselves of quality vehicles that meet their diverse needs.

Volkswagen India’s participation in this initiative highlights the brand’s aim of serving a broader section of society, particularly those who play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the nation. The company’s decision to make its cars accessible through the KPKB scheme reflects CSR initiatives and a recognition of the valuable contributions made by security personnel. This collaboration is expected to not only provide central security agencies and their families with more affordable and accessible mobility solutions but also strengthen the bond between Volkswagen and the dedicated individuals who serve the nation. As part of the KPKB scheme, the beneficiaries can now choose from Volkswagen’s diverse range of vehicles, each designed to deliver comfort, performance, and advanced features.
