Vishnusurya Projects and Infra Ltd, a construction and infrastructure company, has received an order valued at Rs 23.57 crore from Gorantla Geosynthetics Ltd. The contract involves the replacement and construction of the Benzol storage unit, Benzol Recovery Plant-2, and the By-Product Plant at the Steel Authority of India Ltd’s (SAIL) Bokaro unit, a senior company official confirmed.
Within a steel plant, key facilities such as the Benzol Recovery Plant-2 (BRP-2), Coke Oven (CO), and By-Product Plant (BPP) play crucial roles. Vishnusurya Projects is expected to complete the work within 12 months as part of this assignment.
This order falls under the company’s solid waste management division focused on environmental engineering, according to a statement released by Vishnusurya Projects on Saturday.
“Our operations continue to perform well, supported by strong client retention, high standards in project execution, and sustained market relevance despite inflationary pressures on raw materials and other challenges,” said V Sanal Kumar, Director and CEO of the company. He added, “Our targeted investment in high-margin, strategically important projects helps ensure effective capital use and balanced risk-adjusted returns.” As of March 2025, Vishnusurya Projects’ total order book stood at Rs 330 crore.
