Caelux®, a U.S.-based solar manufacturer and leader in perovskite technology, known for enhancing solar performance and maximising ROI, has announced the appointment of Vishwanathan “Vish” Iyer as Managing Director for India and the Middle East. With over 20 years of experience in the clean energy sector, Mr Iyer has played pivotal roles in building and leading clean energy businesses across India and the Middle East.
Most recently, he served as Global Chief Commercial Officer and a founding executive at Jakson Green, where he raised private equity and scaled a multi-gigawatt solar platform, securing over US$600 million in strategic joint venture deals. Mr Iyer also pioneered initiatives in Power-to-X and green hydrogen electrolyser manufacturing.
In his new role, Mr Iyer will spearhead Caelux’s expansion into India—now the world’s third-largest and fastest-growing solar market—while driving growth in the Middle East. He will oversee market development, customer engagement, and operational preparedness while building strong partnerships with key industry players to accelerate Caelux’s market penetration.

Earlier in his career, Mr Iyer worked with Siemens and Larsen & Toubro, managing key clients across India and the Middle East. He later took on leadership roles at Mahindra Partners and Sterling and Wilson, where he scaled businesses in solar energy, energy storage, and EV charging. Vish also founded a cleantech advisory firm based in Singapore. His achievements earned him recognition as a Rising Star Finalist at the S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards.
