VinFast Auto India has opened its first 3S dealership in Bihar, taking its retail network in India to 60 outlets. The milestone comes a year after the company opened its first showroom in the country and highlights its rapid expansion across metropolitan, tier 2 and tier 3 markets.
The new dealership has been established by Patliputra Motors Private Limited and is located on NH-30 Bypass Road, Paijawa, in Patna. The facility is positioned on a key arterial route and is designed to serve customers across Patna and surrounding areas. Spread across 11,500 sq ft, the dealership brings sales, service and customer support together under one roof. The 3,000 sq ft showroom allows customers to explore VinFast’s electric vehicle range, while dedicated service facilities and trained teams provide after-sales support.
The opening marks VinFast’s entry into Bihar and strengthens its presence in eastern India. The company is expanding its network beyond major cities and tier 1 markets to reach customers in emerging urban centres. Patna, as a major commercial centre and gateway to Bihar, is an important addition to VinFast’s growing retail footprint.
VinFast India plans to establish 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026. The company is also working to expand its overall electric vehicle ecosystem through local manufacturing, charging infrastructure, partnerships and battery-related initiatives.

VinFast’s current Indian portfolio includes the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs, both of which have received 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings. The models are supported by roadside assistance, three years of complimentary maintenance and warranty coverage of up to 10 years or 200,000 km, depending on the model.
The company also offers the VF MPV 7, a seven-seater electric vehicle with an ARAI-certified range of 517 km. The vehicle can charge from 10% to 70% in around 30 minutes under suitable fast-charging conditions. VinFast customers can also access the Value Assured Programme, which provides predefined buyback values after a specified ownership period, along with complimentary charging through the V-Green network until March 31, 2029.
