Vikram Solar Limited has secured a 378.75 MW order to supply high-efficiency solar PV modules for a flagship renewable energy project awarded by NTPC Green Energy Limited (INGEL), the clean energy arm of NTPC Limited. The modules will be deployed at a site near Nakhatrana in the Kutch district of Gujarat as part of a 600 MW solar development being executed by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited, a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited and NTPC Green Energy Limited.

The order marks Vikram Solar’s first project collaboration with INGEL and further consolidates its presence in Gujarat, a state that has emerged as a key hub for large-scale renewable energy investments. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in FY26.

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced N-TOPCon modules designed for high output, durability and improved energy yield in utility-scale applications. The technology is engineered to perform reliably in demanding climatic conditions, making it well suited for projects of this scale.

Gujarat continues to lead India’s renewable energy growth, supported by strong policy backing, grid readiness and significant capacity additions. The project near Nakhatrana is expected to contribute meaningfully to regional and national clean energy targets while strengthening the state’s position as a renewable powerhouse.

Commenting on the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said the order represents a significant step as the company begins its association with INGEL on a strategically important solar installation. He noted that the contract reflects Vikram Solar’s capability to deliver advanced N-TOPCon technology for complex, utility-scale projects, backed by robust manufacturing capacity and execution expertise. He added that the engagement lays the foundation for a long-term partnership supporting India’s accelerated shift towards clean energy.

Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, Vikram Solar is among India’s largest PV module manufacturers, with a cumulative production capacity of 9.5 GW and exports spanning 39 countries. The company has been recognised as a Top Performer in PVEL’s PV Module Reliability Scorecard and has featured in BloombergNEF’s Tier 1 solar PV module manufacturer list for eight consecutive quarters. Across India, Vikram Solar operates through a network of more than 105 authorised distributors, over 435 dealers and 77 system integrators.
