Versa Controls Measurement Technologies Private Limited, the Pune-based manufacturer of precision gauging electronics, launched five new products for the Indian market at an event held at the Sheraton Grand Pune, Bund Garden, on the evening of Saturday, October 24, 2026. Wireless on-machine measurement and a closed-loop auto-correction system lead the launch, unveiled by R R Deshpande, former Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines in the presence of Versa family, led by its Founder & Managing Director Uddhav Chitale.
Presented under the theme “The Next Wave of Gauging,” the new range is designed to improve precision, performance, productivity and sustainability on the shop floor. All five products are completely designed and manufactured in India. The launch is built around two priorities: keeping advanced measurement technology affordable, and ensuring that servicing remains within the control of Indian manufacturers.
Key highlights of the launch include Wireless measurement: Portable, battery-operated devices that measure components directly on the machine, without removing the part, helping reduce idle time and handling errors, and Auto-correction system: A complete closed-loop solution that measures, auto-corrects and records each part in a single cycle, supporting consistent quality and full traceability.
Speaking at the launch, Uddhav Chitale, Founder and Managing Director, Versa Controls, said, “The key factors we aimed for in this launch are to make the products affordable, and the serviceability has to be within the control of Indian manufacturers. The products which we have launched today are targeted at the global market.” The products were unveiled by R R Deshpande, who is also a member of Versa’s Advisory Board.
The new range is aimed primarily at the automotive and machine tool sectors, where critical dimensional measurement is central to quality. Versa will showcase the products to international buyers at the Control exhibition in Germany in May, as part of its plans to expand in Europe and the USA.
Established in 2002 in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, Versa Controls Measurement Technologies Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures gauging displays, signal conditioners, LVDT probes and wireless measurement systems for quality and inspection. The company serves automotive and component manufacturers across India, and reaches eight European countries through its German distributor, Nirschl, along with a distributor in Thailand for Southeast Asia. Versa is the sole Indian distributor for Solartron Metrology, UK, and received the MCCIA G.S. Parkhe Award for innovation in 2018.
