Vehant Technologies, a provider of smart security and surveillance solutions, has secured multiple orders totaling around 80 X-ray baggage scanner machines, valued at approximately Rs 17 crore. These orders come from various organizations, including the Airport Authority of India (AAI), the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the Central Police Organization, and others.

Vehant Technologies highlighted that it received its largest order from the Airport Authority of India, consisting of 36 AI-powered Multi-Energy and Dual-View X-ray baggage scanning machines. These machines will be deployed at airports in Madurai, Rewa, Kolkata, Trichy, Datia, and Saharanpur. Additionally, Karnataka Police and the West Bengal Prison Department have ordered 14 machines each, while the Uttar Pradesh Prison Department and other organizations have also placed significant orders.
Vehant Technologies stated that these machines will improve infrastructure security at various locations across the country, demonstrating the company’s commitment to ensuring national safety. These sophisticated AI-driven devices have the capability to detect illicit objects using X-ray images and provide real-time alerts to operators, thus preventing potential issues.
They also offer additional features such as Threat Image Projection, an enhanced central console, and improved video management, which collectively enhance operational efficiency. The ability to perform real-time, precise scans is crucial for identifying hidden threats like explosives, weapons, and biological hazards.
