VECV Wins 1,663 Vehicle Order from Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has secured an order for 1,621 buses and 42 heavy-duty trucks from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). The order includes 1,344 non-air-conditioned buses, 197 air-conditioned buses, 80 CNG bus chassis, and 42 logistics trucks.

Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director & CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, highlighted that the order reflects UPSRTC’s trust in the company’s solutions for light, medium, and heavy-duty transport needs. The non-air-conditioned buses will feature Skyline Pro 3011 L and Skyline Pro 3010 L models, both built on VECV’s 3000 series platform and powered by E494 and E474 BSVI engines designed for fuel efficiency.

Additionally, the Eicher Pro 6016 CNG buses will come equipped with E694 CNG engines producing 150 kW of power and high-capacity CNG tanks. The order also includes Eicher Pro 3019 trucks powered by E494 engines for logistics and parts transportation.

This order supports the Uttar Pradesh government’s infrastructure development goals and aims to modernize public transportation in the state. Eicher vehicles come with telematics systems, and the company has a wide network of service centers across India. The order marks one of the larger commercial vehicle deals for Eicher and contributes to UPSRTC’s ongoing fleet modernization efforts.
