Vayve Mobility, an emerging player in the automotive industry, is set to showcase Eva, India’s first solar-powered compact electric car, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi from January 17 to 22, 2025. The vehicle offers a driving range of 250 kilometers per charge, with an additional solar-powered range of up to 3,000 kilometers annually. Eva’s high-voltage powertrain supports rapid charging, enabling a 50-kilometer boost in just five minutes. It accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in five seconds and achieves a top speed of 70 km/h. Enhanced visibility and smart features such as smartphone integration, vehicle diagnostics, remote monitoring, and over-the-air updates provide a seamless driving experience.
Eva is also cost-efficient, with an operational cost of ₹0.5 per kilometer—substantially lower than the ₹5 per kilometer average for petrol cars. Its lightweight build and energy-efficient design make it an affordable and environmentally friendly choice for urban households.
