Varroc, a leading global supplier of automotive components, has stepped into the two-wheeler battery market with the introduction of its new range of VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) batteries. This launch signals Varroc’s entry into the aftermarket battery space, targeting India’s large population of two-wheeler users with dependable and maintenance-free energy solutions.

The new batteries, built using VRLA technology, are designed for consistent long-term performance and user convenience. Offered in variants ranging from 2.5AH to 9AH, they are compatible with most popular motorcycle and scooter models in the country. Their sealed, maintenance-free design removes the need for water top-ups, making them ideal for daily use.

To ensure accessibility across India, Varroc will distribute these batteries through a strong channel comprising approximately 730 distributors and over 50,000 retail outlets. Each battery comes with a 48-month pro-rata warranty and a completely digital warranty claim process, ensuring ease of service and customer satisfaction.

Key features include a low self-discharge rate of just 0.003V per day, supporting reliable operation even after long periods of inactivity. Designed for a service life of over four years, the batteries use 99.99% pure active material and calcium alloy to reduce internal corrosion and extend performance. Additional design elements like premium Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) and narrow rib grid structures enhance durability, making them suitable for India’s diverse and demanding road conditions. The product line includes models such as 2.5LC, VTZ4, VTZ4A, VTZ5, V5LB, V7LB, V9LB, and VTZ9.
