Automotive technology supplier Valeo has expanded its operations in India with the launch of new advanced manufacturing and assembly lines at its Pune facility. This move highlights Valeo’s strong commitment to driving the shift toward electric vehicles (EVs) in India’s automotive market.
The upgraded facility will focus on producing the 3-in-1 Combo unit—a cutting-edge solution that integrates On-Board Chargers, DC-DC Converters, and Power Distribution Units for electric vehicles. This innovation is aimed at providing more competitive and locally produced options for Indian automakers, contributing significantly to increasing domestic value addition.
Xavier Dupont, CEO of Valeo’s Power Division and Group Executive Vice President, attended the inauguration alongside Jayakumar G, Group President & Managing Director of Valeo India. Dupont emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting India’s move towards electric mobility.
