UST, a prominent player in technology and digital transformation, has inaugurated a new office in Pune, Maharashtra, further enhancing its presence in India. This expansion is expected to generate between 3,500 to 6,000 job opportunities in the next 3-5 years. Located at the EQ Smartworks building in Balewadi, the new office spans 80,000 square feet and offers over 1,000 workstations, complementing the company’s existing facility in the Sai Radhe Complex in Pune.

The new office was officially opened by Krishna Sudheendra, CEO of UST, alongside key company leaders such as Alexander Varghese, COO, Sunil Balakrishnan, Chief Values Officer, Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, President of Product Engineering and Pune Center Head, and other senior executives.

With a workforce of over 2,000 employees, UST’s Pune Center of Excellence focuses on fostering innovation and accelerating business growth through expertise in data science, product engineering, design, and digital applications. The center plays a pivotal role in advancing digital transformation for UST’s global clients in industries such as fintech, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and automotive.

Alexander Varghese, UST’s Chief Operating Officer, shared his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to open our new office in Pune, a key milestone in our ongoing expansion in India. This office will allow us to scale our operations significantly and address the growing demand for digital transformation. Our priorities include building a strong talent pool, cultivating strategic business relationships, and expanding our capabilities in AI, design, and engineering.”

Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, President of Product Engineering and Pune Center Head, added, “Pune is a strategic technology hub, and this new office is a major investment in UST’s future. With continued investments in AI and engineering, the Pune Center will remain a focal point for innovation, enabling us to lead large-scale digital transformation projects for global enterprises.”

In the next three years, UST plans to continue expanding its workforce and office capacity across India to meet increasing business demands in digital transformation and AI. The company also aims to build a strong pipeline for business consulting and strategic partnerships.
