Unionfab has announced the expansion of its CNC machining support capabilities across Germany, the United States, and Canada as demand grows for rapid prototyping, low-volume manufacturing, and precision engineering solutions in global industrial markets. The company, which specialises in on-demand manufacturing services, stated that the expansion is aimed at supporting engineers, OEMs, product developers, and industrial customers seeking faster turnaround times, advanced machining capabilities, and a broader range of engineering materials for modern manufacturing projects.

According to the company, shorter product development cycles and increasingly complex technical requirements are driving demand for reliable CNC machining partners capable of delivering precision, consistency, and flexible production support. To address these requirements, Unionfab has strengthened its support for a wide range of mainstream and specialised engineering materials commonly used in North American and European industrial projects.

The company’s machining capabilities now support materials including aluminium alloys such as 6061-T6 and 7075, stainless steels including 303, 304, 316, and 17-4 PH grades, tool steels such as A2, D2, H13, and P20, as well as titanium alloys, brass, copper, and multiple engineering plastics including nylon, POM, polycarbonate, PMMA, ABS, and PEEK. Backed by a manufacturing network comprising approximately 400 CNC machines, the company supports both prototype development and low-volume production requirements across industries such as aerospace, automotive, industrial engineering, robotics, medical devices, and electronics manufacturing.

For selected projects, the company offers lead times as short as three to five days along with advanced machining tolerances reaching up to ±0.0005 inches. The platform also provides a broad range of post-processing and surface finishing solutions including anodising, polishing, bead blasting, painting, and metal plating services.

In addition to machining operations, the company has strengthened its quality assurance and dimensional inspection capabilities to support precision-critical applications. The inspection processes are designed to improve production consistency, dimensional verification, and manufacturability across customer projects.

Unionfab stated that the expansion also includes engineering-oriented support throughout the quoting, process review, and production stages. The company aims to provide customers with better technical communication, manufacturing guidance, and sourcing efficiency during project execution.

Commenting on evolving customer expectations within the CNC machining sector, Allen Yan, Chief Executive Officer of Unionfab, said industrial buyers today are seeking more than just machining capacity. He noted that customers increasingly prioritise reliable technical communication, stable machining quality, material availability, and production timelines that align closely with real-world engineering schedules.

The company’s digital manufacturing platform is also designed to simplify sourcing and procurement processes through fast quotation systems and streamlined order management capabilities. Customers can upload RFQs and receive manufacturing support directly through the company’s online platform.

Unionfab provides a broad range of manufacturing services including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, vacuum casting, and low-volume production solutions for customers across global markets. The company continues to expand its focus on advanced manufacturing technologies and digitally enabled production support as industries increasingly adopt flexible and distributed manufacturing models.
