UNICEF YuWaah’s YouthHub and Gigin AI have entered a strategic collaboration to provide employment, skill development, and volunteering opportunities to young people aged 15 to 29. Since the integration of Gigin AI into YouthHub in November 2024, over 500 verified job placements have been facilitated, with a strong focus on reaching youth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as well as those from lower-income backgrounds.
YouthHub, a digital platform developed by UNICEF YuWaah, aims to connect young talent with opportunities in today’s competitive job market. By leveraging advanced AI-driven job matching, the platform offers personalized recommendations based on skills, experience, and interests, ensuring young people find the best opportunities to match their potential.
In addition to job placements, YouthHub provides access to a wide range of sector-specific job listings, volunteering opportunities, and free training courses designed to build both technical and soft skills. Available in nine Indian languages, the platform is dedicated to inclusivity and accessibility across India.
This partnership between YouthHub and Gigin AI marks a significant step forward in addressing the challenges of access to employment opportunities and closing the skills gap in India.
