Ultraviolette, a leading electric motorcycle manufacturer, is preparing to introduce 10 new models, including scooters and long-range cruiser bikes, over the next three years. This move is aimed at expanding its market reach, according to CEO and Co-founder Narayan Subramaniam.

The company recently unveiled its debut electric scooter, Tesseract, alongside a new lightweight electric motorcycle, Shockwave. Future plans include the development of multi-terrain bikes as part of their expanding product line.

Ultraviolette, which has investment backing from TVS Motor Co, will release a new bike under its existing F series of performance bikes, two additional scooters under the S series (which includes the Tesseract), and two more lightweight bikes under the L Series, which will feature Shockwave.

The electric scooter Tesseract will initially be priced at ₹1.2 lakh for the first 10,000 units, after which it will be sold for ₹1.45 lakh. Meanwhile, the Shockwave e-bike will be available at an introductory price of ₹1.49 lakh for the first 1,000 bikes, with a regular price of ₹1.75 lakh. Bookings for both models will open immediately, with deliveries set to begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The company also plans to introduce the X series, featuring three models, and two more products under the B Series. The B Series will cater to the long-range cruiser market, while the X series will focus on multi-terrain capabilities.

The new scooters will target different segments, with Ultraviolette’s platform enabling the development of products suited to various use cases, such as adventure scooters, maxi scooters, and family-oriented models.

“Years of research and development and the vertical integration of technology have positioned us to scale across multiple product platforms,” Subramaniam explained. As part of its growth strategy, Ultraviolette aims to ramp up its commercial operations, targeting monthly sales of 1,000 units by mid-2025. Additionally, the company plans to expand its sales network from 12 cities to 30 cities within this year.
