Ultraviolette has proudly inaugurated its latest UV Space Pod Experience Centre in Nepal, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing expansion. This development comes in conjunction with Ultraviolette’s entry into five cities across India and the announcement of its export initiatives to European markets.
This strategic expansion aligns seamlessly with Ultraviolette’s ambitious goal of establishing 50 futuristic experience centres worldwide, with plans to extend its footprint to a dozen Indian cities by the end of 2024. This vision is closely tied to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of ‘Design in India, Design for the World.’
The newly launched UV Space Pod in Nepal not only aims to showcase Ultraviolette’s high-performance electric motorcycle, the F77 MACH 2, to a wider audience but also signifies an essential step in penetrating key markets within India.
Spanning an impressive 800 square feet, the facility operates as a comprehensive 3S center, providing sales, service, and spare parts in a conveniently accessible location. It is equipped with cutting-edge digital diagnostic tools and offers direct, on-call technical support from Ultraviolette’s headquarters located in Bengaluru.
Narayan Subramaniam, the CEO and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, expressed his enthusiasm about this launch, stating, “The introduction of the UV Space Pod in Nepal aligns perfectly with our mission to revolutionize mobility. Nepal, known for its vibrant motorcycling community and breathtaking landscapes, presents an ideal backdrop for this important milestone.”
Narayan added, “This new Space Pod epitomizes Ultraviolette’s commitment to promoting sustainable mobility while providing an exceptional experience for motorcycle enthusiasts. As we expand our presence in Nepal, our primary focus will remain on fostering innovation and supporting the region’s vision for a smarter, more interconnected future.”
The launch of the Kathmandu facility is a continuation of Ultraviolette’s successful openings in cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Hyderabad, marking yet another significant step in its aggressive expansion strategy. With Nepal emerging as a prominent destination for electric vehicle (EV) investments, the country has garnered considerable interest from both international and local players in the industry.
Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, shared his insights on this expansion, noting, “The strong passion for motorcycling among enthusiasts in Nepal makes it a prime location for our latest UV Space Pod. This launch is not merely about unveiling another state-of-the-art facility; it serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to enhancing the electric vehicle ecosystem. We have received a tremendous number of inquiries from Kathmandu, and we are thrilled to embark on this new chapter, contributing to the region’s green mobility aspirations.”
The F77 MACH 2, entirely conceived, designed, and manufactured in India, is now available for purchase and test rides at the newly opened UV Space Pod in Kathmandu. This launch represents not only a strategic advancement for Ultraviolette but also a significant contribution to the growing electric mobility landscape in Nepal.
