UFlex Reports Robust Financial Performance in Q4 FY25

UFlex Ltd, India’s leading multinational in flexible packaging, posted strong results for the fourth quarter and full year ending March 31, 2025. The company recorded growth across key financial metrics, driven by increased sales volumes, refined pricing strategies, and enhanced operational efficiency in major markets.

Consolidated revenue for Q4 FY25 reached ₹3,873.8 crore, reflecting a 10.8% increase from ₹3,496.7 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. For the full year, revenue rose 12.4% to ₹15,183.8 crore from ₹13,509.8 crore in FY24.

The packaging films division led performance, contributing 77.7% of the company’s total sales volume in FY25. The packaging business accounted for the remaining 22.3%. Overall sales volume for the year stood at 6,47,499 metric tonnes, an 8.0% increase year-on-year.

Normalized EBITDA for Q4 FY25 was ₹478.2 crore, up 5.1% from ₹455 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full fiscal year, EBITDA rose 18.1% to ₹1,902.4 crore from ₹1,610.3 crore the previous year. The EBITDA margin improved by 60 basis points to 12.5% in FY25.

Net profit for Q4 FY25, after exceptional items, stood at ₹168.6 crore—a recovery from a net loss of ₹270.9 crore in Q4 FY24, supported by a ₹70 crore exchange gain compared to a ₹389.7 crore exchange loss a year earlier. FY25 normalized profit after tax reached ₹320.1 crore, an increase of 77.5% from ₹180.3 crore in FY24. However, Q4 PAT decreased to ₹98.6 crore from ₹118.8 crore due to higher interest and depreciation costs.

Global capacity utilization improved from 78.9% in FY24 to 83.1% in FY25. India accounted for 46.1% of the company’s revenue, followed by significant contributions from the Americas, Europe, and MEA regions. Sustainability efforts advanced in FY25, with UFlex recycling more than 800 million PET bottles and 8,200 metric tonnes of multi-layered plastic (MLP) waste.
