Tumakuru Machine Tool Park (TMTP), India’s first integrated machine tool park is inviting applications for the allotment of industrial plots which will be exclusive for the manufacturers in the machine tools and its ancillary businesses. TMTP is a special purpose industry park developed by Government of India and Government of Karnataka, and situated very close to the machine tool hub of India, Bengaluru.
The Tumakuru Machine Tool Park will only offer space for the cluster of machine tool industries of both Indian and multi-national companies along with supportive logistic chain. The project is led by Karnataka government with the main objective of making the domestic capital goods sector globally competitive.
Commenting on this Dr. N Shivashankar IAS, CEO, TMTP said, “To facilitate growth of Indian Machine Tool Industry, the Government of Karnataka and Government of India have set up the Machine Tool Park in Tumakuru near Bengaluru. The park is built with State- of -the -art world class modern amenities. All domestic and foreign companies from machine tool sector are welcome to set up their units at TMTP.” Dr. N Shivashankar IAS is also the Executive Member and CEO of KIADB , which promotes the establishment and development of industries and for providing industrial infrastructural facilities and other amenities in Industrial areas in the State of Karnataka.
The park is located within 100 kilometers from Bengaluru featuring an extent of 530 acres of land as a self contained gated community. The park will have about 158 plots which are available in various dimensions ranging from 0.5 acre to 5 acres and above. The park offers world class physical, technical and social infrastructure with all modern amenities. It is built with concrete roads, underground utility ducts for power and water supply and provision for rain water harvesting and other civic amenities.
