Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd announced on Thursday that it has secured an order worth Rs 565 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India. The contract involves manufacturing and supplying transformers and reactors with specifications ranging from 80 MVAr to 500 MVA and voltage levels between 420kV and 765kV.
In its regulatory filing, the company stated, “Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has been awarded orders of Rs 565 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India.” The order is scheduled for completion by FY26.
The company emphasized its commitment to delivering top-notch products, having established itself as a leading transformer manufacturer in India. In September, the company secured a Rs 114 crore order from RRVPNL for manufacturing 50 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformers.
Additionally, in August, it won a Rs 91 crore contract from SPIL for producing transformers with capacities between 50 to 500 MVA and voltage levels from 33 kV to 420 kV. Another Rs 70 crore order was received from KEPIPL for transformers during the same period.
