Transformers and Rectifiers Wins ₹726 Crore Order from Gujarat Energy

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has secured a ₹726 crore contract from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited, as announced by the company today. The order entails the supply of Auto Transformers and Bus Reactors, with the entire project set to be completed within 18 months from the issuance of the Letter of Intent. The contract is categorized as a domestic order and includes GST in its total value.

TARIL clarified that this order is part of its regular business activities and is not linked to any related party transactions. The company also confirmed that its promoters and group companies have no connection with Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited.

Recognized as the second-largest transformer manufacturer in India by production capacity, TARIL specializes in power, distribution, furnace, and specialty transformers. The company operates three manufacturing facilities near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and employs around 1,200 staff members.
