Transformers and Rectifiers Secures Orders Worth Rs 350 Crore

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd announced on Monday that it has received two significant orders totaling Rs 350 crore for transformer supplies. As per a regulatory filing, the transformers are expected to be delivered by the end of the next financial year.

The company has secured a contract worth Rs 272 crore from the Adani Group for the supply of transformers and reactors, with delivery scheduled within the next financial year. Additionally, Transformers and Rectifiers has been awarded export orders worth Rs 78 crore from Iraq’s Al Sabha Group and Australia’s Powerlink Queensland for the supply of transformers.

The company manufactures transformers for both domestic and international markets. For the third quarter of FY25, Transformers & Rectifiers (India) reported a substantial growth, with a 252.92% increase in consolidated net profit, rising to Rs 55.48 crore. This was accompanied by a 51.44% rise in revenue, reaching Rs 559.36 crore compared to the same period in FY24.
