Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd. announced on Thursday that it has secured export orders valued at USD 16.80 million (approximately Rs 141 crore). The company has received a contract worth $14 million from Linxon Global Sweden for the supply of 18 traction transformers and 55 auto transformers, with a completion target set for October 2025.
Additionally, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) secured a $2.8 million order from ArcelorMittal Mexico for an electrical arc furnace transformer, which is scheduled for delivery by December this year. The company has set an ambitious revenue target of Rs 2,000 crore for the financial year 2024-25 and is aiming to increase its profit margin to 14%, up from 10% in the previous year.
According to the company’s leadership, the majority of the Rs 3,000 crore orders are expected to come from sectors such as grid expansion, railways, and renewable energy, with additional demand anticipated for electric arc furnace transformers—a significant export product for the firm.
For the June quarter, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) reported a net profit of Rs 20.09 crore, a sharp turnaround from a loss of Rs 12.61 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue more than doubled to Rs 322 crore compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, and its order book currently stands at Rs 2,926 crore.
