TPREL’s TP Saurya Unveils Largest 200 MW Solar Power Installation

TPREL’s subsidiary TP Saurya Ltd (TPSL) has recently achieved a significant milestone by completing the commissioning of a 200 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, for Tata Power Trading Company Ltd (TPTCL). This remarkable project is poised to produce an estimated 485 million units of clean energy annually, playing a pivotal role in mitigating over 3,88,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.

The project’s integration with the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) bus signifies a crucial step towards efficiently distributing clean energy across the region. Despite facing various challenges, including extreme weather conditions and geopolitical hurdles, the project was completed on schedule. This accomplishment underscores the compnay’s unwavering dedication to sustainable energy solutions and highlights the exceptional project execution and engineering expertise of its team.

With this latest addition, TPREL has expanded its renewable energy capacity to 9,018 MW, which includes 4,547 MW of projects currently in different stages of implementation. The operational capacity now stands at 4,471 MW, with 3,444 MW from solar projects and 1,027 MW from wind projects.
