Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been awarded the ‘Star Performer Award’ at the 54th EEPC India National Export Awards held in New Delhi. The award recognizes TKM’s outstanding export performance in the Engineering Products category, specifically for Engines & Parts, in the Large Enterprise segment for the 2021-22 export year.
The EEPC India National Export Awards honor companies that make significant contributions to India’s engineering export sector, highlighting excellence and innovation. The ceremony, organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India, was attended by key figures, including Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Electronics and Information & Technology, Government of India.
TKM earned the prestigious award based on key performance indicators, including the Free on Board (FoB) value of exports, net foreign exchange earned, and product range. The company saw a 39% increase in Engine & Parts exports in 2021-22, solidifying its global presence and competitiveness.
G. We are honored to be recognized for our efforts in engineering excellence and our contribution to making India more competitive on the global stage. We thank EEPC India for this recognition and will continue to strengthen our export initiatives to further expand our international presence.”
This recognition follows TKM’s previous award at the EEPC India Southern Region Export Award Ceremony, where the company was acknowledged for its export achievements. Last year, TKM also received two major awards: the ‘Engines and Turbines & Parts – Large Enterprise’ award for 2019-20 and the ‘Gold Trophy’ for Top Exporters in the Merchant Exporter category for 2020-21.
TKM remains dedicated to advancing its export strategy, with a focus on world-class manufacturing to showcase India’s engineering expertise worldwide. As an advocate of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, TKM continues to improve localization, strengthen its supply chain, and contribute to India’s economic growth through increased high-quality exports.
