Tigo Energy, Inc (NASDAQ: TYGO), a global leader in smart solar and energy management solutions, has announced a major modernization of its installer support system with the launch of all-digital product documentation for its TS4 Flex MLPE line. Beginning November 2025, printed installation manuals will be replaced with QR code–based digital guides featured on every product box, giving installers immediate access to the latest instructions, visual aids, and videos in multiple languages.

This shift to digital marks a significant step in improving the installer experience, aligning with Tigo’s Total Quality Solar (TQS) initiative and complementing its Green Glove service program and Tigo Academy. The new system eliminates the risk of using outdated paper manuals, reduces paper waste globally, and provides dynamic, up-to-date information accessible from any mobile device. By scanning the on-box QR code, installers can instantly access setup videos, wiring diagrams, and localized content, streamlining installation processes across all regions Tigo serves.

Nathan Mann, owner of Mann Solar, praised the change, noting, “The QR code system makes it easy to find exactly what we need on-site without worrying about losing or damaging printed manuals. It’s especially useful for new installers learning Tigo products for the first time.” The digital platform also integrates with Tigo Academy, allowing users to seamlessly transition from product setup to advanced training and certification programs. With support for over 127 countries, the system’s multilingual functionality removes language barriers and ensures consistent access to current documentation.

According to JD Dillon, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at Tigo Energy, “This move reflects direct feedback from installers and our commitment to continuous improvement. Since Tigo’s hardware and software evolve rapidly, digital documentation allows us to keep installers aligned with the latest product developments and best practices.”

Founded in 2007, Tigo Energy designs and delivers intelligent solar hardware and software solutions that optimize energy performance, ensure safety, and reduce costs for residential, commercial, and utility-scale systems. Its portfolio combines Flex MLPE technology, solar optimizers, inverters, and battery storage with cloud-based monitoring and control, driving efficiency and innovation across the global solar ecosystem.
