Tigo Energy, a prominent player in smart solar and energy technology, has announced the certification of its three-phase EI Inverter range in the Czech Republic. The inverters have successfully met the PPDS P4 grid compliance standards, which are mandatory for solar systems to connect with the Czech power grid. These regulations ensure that equipment meets European technical requirements and has been adopted by the country’s local utilities.

This achievement further strengthens Tigo’s established presence in the region, where over 100 megawatts of its Module-Level Power Electronics (MLPE) systems have already been installed in 2024. The company’s growing installer base across the country continues to benefit from these advanced solutions, driven by the increasing adoption of rooftop solar projects—estimated to exceed 900 MW this year alone.

Tigo’s EI Residential platform offers a complete, integrated solution for solar production, energy storage, and system management. It includes TS4 Flex MLPE devices, inverters for both single- and three-phase applications, modular battery storage, and the EI Link—a centralized hub for system communication and wiring. Additional offerings like the GO EV Charger and GO Junction enable seamless integration of electric vehicles and heat pumps, turning homes into fully connected energy systems.

According to Miroslav Vavera, CEO of SUNLUX sro, “The new certification gives us access to a trusted, fully integrated energy platform that is quick to deploy and easy to scale. With advanced monitoring tools and robust backup support, it helps homeowners maintain energy independence even during power interruptions.”

Tigo has designed its product line with installer convenience in mind. Drawing on experience from its Green Glove Service Program, the company has streamlined the setup process and minimized manual configuration. These improvements include faster commissioning, simplified system optimization, and diagnostic tools to ensure smoother installations and dependable performance.

Jing Tian, Chief Growth and Revenue Officer at Tigo Energy, highlighted the significance of the Czech Republic in the company’s European strategy. “With strong demand for solar-plus-storage systems, our certified EI Residential solution offers real, scalable value to both Czech homeowners and solar professionals. This milestone marks another step in making smarter energy systems more accessible across the region.”

Solar professionals in the Czech Republic can explore Tigo’s solutions firsthand at the upcoming Iftech Solar Fvest in September 2025. The company also invites Czech-language registrants to participate in a dedicated webinar, showcasing the features and benefits of its residential system.
