The TiE Bangalore Antarprerana Global Summit 2024, part of the larger TiE Global Summit 2024, brought together over 40 distinguished speakers and entrepreneurs to explore the powerful connection between personal transformation and entrepreneurial success. Held at the JN Tata Auditorium at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the summit was organized by TiE Bangalore with KDEM as a strategic partner.
The Government of Karnataka supported the event as the State Partner, while co-hosts included the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), MeitY Startup Hub, India AI Mission, and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).
Opening the event, Shri Madan Padaki, President of TiE Bangalore, and Shri Ramkumar Seshu, renowned author and TiE Bangalore Charter Member, emphasized the importance of aligning inner clarity with entrepreneurial impact. The summit kicked off with an Antarprerana Yoga session led by Yoga Guru Dr Raghavendra Pai, setting a reflective tone. The plenary session, “The Motivation Within,” featured Shri Prashanth Prakash, Chairman of the Karnataka Vision Board, and Sadhguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, who discussed leadership through personal transformation.
Notable figures at the summit included Dr Xinhong Lim of Gelephu Mindfulness City, Bhutan; Farzana Haque, Global Head at TCS; Shri Kumaar Bagrodia, Founder of HALE and NeuroLeap; and Shri Sunil Savara, Director of Impossible Transformations. Other prominent attendees included Shri Shridhar Venkat, CEO of AkshayaPatra, and Shri BV Jagadeesh, Co-founder of SVQuad.
Key sessions at the summit explored the intersection of purpose and leadership. In “Building Purpose-Driven Organizations,” moderated by Cheenu G. Srinivasan, John Kusi-Mensah and Prasad Kalpa discussed how businesses can move beyond profit-driven goals to align with a higher purpose, resulting in a more engaged workforce and a positive impact on communities. The session emphasized the importance of identifying a meaningful cause that resonates with both organizational values and individual strengths, creating a shared vision for success.
Another significant session, “Decision Making – The Role of Head and Heart,” featured BV Jagadeesh and Radhika Gupta, who explored the delicate balance between logic and emotion in leadership. They examined how leaders can leverage data-driven strategies while also incorporating emotional intelligence and a sense of purpose to inspire their teams. This approach, they argued, fosters innovation, resilience, and sustainable success, ultimately driving long-term value for both the organization and its stakeholders.
The event also featured masterclasses covering topics such as Design Thinking, AI in Startups, and Product-Market Fit, with industry experts providing actionable insights for entrepreneurs. Madan Padaki, in his keynote address, highlighted the importance of inner strength in achieving long-term entrepreneurial success. He emphasized how the Antarprerana Summit helped over 500 participants develop clarity, emotional intelligence, and strategies for impactful business leadership. The summit concluded with the Antarprerana Series – Experience Share, where entrepreneurs like Ram Kumar Seshu and Anita Manwani shared their personal journeys, offering invaluable lessons on discipline, resilience, and community building.
