From February 27th to 29th, 2024, the HARTING Technology Group is set to host the third edition of Industrial Ethernet Week. Industrial Ethernet Week 3 will spotlight Generative AI in manufacturing, explore challenges in factory network installation, and discuss modern device design using data models. Over three days, global industry leaders and HARTING‘s connectivity experts will present insights through use cases, discussions, presentations, and tech sessions, providing solutions and best practices shaping developments in 2024.

The first day of the Industrial Ethernet Week will concentrate on AI and IIoT platforms, featuring Amazon Web Services showcasing the current and future applications of generative AI in industry. ICONICS and Mitsubishi Electric will demonstrate AI- and IIoT-supported flexible smart factory platforms. The day will culminate in a panel discussion on implementing AI solutions in manufacturing.
Day two will shift the focus to the installation of high-performance networks in factory applications. Softing IT Networks will address recognizing and solving common problems with end-to-end Profinet cabling applications. HARTING’s connectivity experts will provide insights into industrial Ethernet connectivity in harsh environments, showcasing tested cable assemblies for plug & play use. The day will conclude with discussions on engineering data supporting device design.
The third day will explore modern approaches to device design through design-to-source platforms. Belden and SICK AG experts will highlight how Single Pair Ethernet connects the field level with existing networks, and Würth Elektronik will delve into Power over Ethernet (PoE) in interface design. The week will wrap up with an open discussion on cost and risk management in new electronics designs.
Key thought leaders from Belden, Amazon Web Services, Sick, Halerium, Mitsubishi Electric, Iconics, Würth Elektronik, SPE Industrial Partner Network, Softing, Supplyframe, and IoT UseCase will join HARTING experts, reporting live from the HARTING Forum in Espelkamp and streaming globally to over 50 countries. The three-day focus areas include AI and IIoT Platforms, Factory Installation, and Device Design.
