Thermax, a leading provider of energy and environmental solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with HydrogenPro, a global leader in green hydrogen technology, to deliver advanced alkaline electrolyser systems in India. Under the agreement, Thermax will receive technology licensing, stack supplies (including future upgrades), and technical support from HydrogenPro. Effective immediately, Thermax gains exclusive rights to supply, install, commission, and maintain these electrolyser systems in India, supporting the country’s expanding green hydrogen initiatives.
HydrogenPro’s high-efficiency, internationally certified alkaline electrolyser technology features cutting-edge electrode development and proprietary coating techniques. Through a comprehensive technology transfer, Thermax will locally engineer and manufacture key components, including the balance-of-plant systems, integrating them with HydrogenPro’s stacks.
The companies will also co-develop advanced solutions tailored to evolving market demands. As an initial step, Thermax will establish a state-of-the-art test station for short stacks at its Pune facility, enabling performance validation and innovation.
