At electronica India 2024, Texas Instruments (TI) is spotlighting its latest technological advancements across vehicle electrification, energy infrastructure, and appliance sectors. The event, held from September 11-13 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, showcases TI’s cutting-edge analog and embedded processing products at Hall 10, booth G01.
Santhosh Kumar, President and Managing Director of Texas Instruments India, emphasized that the company is presenting a robust portfolio aimed at system designers in the automotive, energy, and appliances industries. These technologies support the development of smart appliances, electric two- and three-wheelers, and solar energy grids.
At their exhibit, TI is highlighting several key areas:
Vehicle Electrification: TI showcases advanced battery management systems and electric vehicle (EV) powertrain technologies, featuring products such as AM26x microcontrollers (MCUs), C2000 MCUs, and the UCC5880-Q1 isolated gate driver. Demonstrations also include the TPS4811-Q1 smart high-side driver for battery management and the LM5149-Q1 buck DC/DC controller for onboard chargers and converters.
Energy Infrastructure: TI’s focus on energy applications includes smart energy meters, solar power systems, and energy storage solutions. Their demonstration features high-voltage power conversion using TI GaN technology and C2000 MCUs for solar inverters. The booth also showcases smart metering systems with ultrasonic and wave meter technologies.
TI presents solutions for sensing, connectivity, motor drivers, and power management in home appliances. This includes smart motor drives like the MSPM0 MCU series and MCF8315 brushless DC motor driver, along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth technologies for enhanced appliance connectivity. Kumar will also participate in a panel discussion titled “Powering the Future: India’s Vision and Roadmap for Electric Vehicles with Advanced Electronics” on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
