Tekno Valves has announced the release of its SSWN-32/52 stainless steel diaphragm gland seal valve series, built specifically for lecture bottles used in laboratory, analytical, and research settings. These new valves are constructed with SS 303 for both the body and internal parts and offer multiple seat material choices—including PCTFE, PEEK, and PVDF—to support various gases and operational requirements. The design includes an Inconel lower diaphragm for reliable sealing, paired with four upper stainless steel diaphragms to increase durability and extend service life.
The valves are rated for a maximum working pressure of 207 bar (3,000 psig) and can be configured with CGA 170 or CGA 180 outlets. Available inlet thread options include 3/8-18 NGT or 0.750-16 UNF. The SSWN-32/52 series is certified to EN ISO 10297:2017 by BAM and conforms to CGA V-9:2019 requirements.
Each unit is helium-tested to verify internal and external leakage levels of 10⁻⁷ mbar•l/sec at valve tightness pressure, ensuring high-precision leak control for critical analytical and laboratory processes.
