Tejas Networks to Provide Broadband Equipment for Tamil Nadu’s BharatNet Last Mile Connectivity Initiative

Tejas Networks has been selected to supply its advanced GPON OLT, ONT, and Management Systems for the BharatNet Last Mile Connectivity (LMC) project in Tamil Nadu. Implemented by TANFINET (Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited) with Polycab India Limited as the Master System Integrator, the project aims to bring high-speed broadband connectivity to approximately 50,000 government institutions, schools, and public health centers across rural Tamil Nadu.

The initiative will also support FTTH (Fiber to the Home) services for rural households by collaborating with local cable operators and telecom providers.
