Tejas Networks has appointed Sanjay Malik, former India Country Head at Nokia, as its new EVP – Chief Strategy and Business Officer. In this role, Sanjay will collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to drive corporate strategy, manage business operations, and engage with key stakeholders, including government bodies, customers, and partners both domestically and internationally.
N. Ganapathy Subramaniam, Chairman of the Board at Tejas Networks, expressed enthusiasm about Sanjay’s appointment, highlighting his leadership and successful track record. “Sanjay’s experience will be crucial as Tejas looks to transform into a global telecom leader,” he said.
Anand Athreya, CEO and MD of Tejas Networks, also welcomed Sanjay, praising his extensive background in leading top-tier telecom companies. “Sanjay’s leadership will play a key role as we continue to scale the company globally,” said Athreya.
Sanjay brings over 20 years of experience in the global telecom sector, having held senior roles at Nokia in strategy, sales, business management, and operations. He most recently served as SVP and India Country Head, where he led Nokia India to a market leadership position. Sanjay holds an MBA from IIM, Mumbai, and has completed various Executive Leadership Programs.
