Ultraviolette has secured a strategic investment from TDK Ventures, the venture capital arm of Japan’s TDK Corporation. This collaboration marks a major milestone in Ultraviolette’s pursuit to build high-performance electric two-wheelers that reflect India’s technological prowess and design innovation.

TDK Ventures joins a prominent list of backers supporting Ultraviolette, including Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, Speciale Invest, Lingotto (formerly Exor Capital), and TVS Motor Company. Other significant individual investors include Sriharsha Majety (Co-founder & CEO, Swiggy), Ankit Nagori (Co-founder, Cure Foods), Aprameya Radhakrishna (Co-founder, TaxiForSure), and actor and auto enthusiast Dulquer Salmaan.

Ultraviolette was established to develop electric vehicles that marry futuristic aesthetics with top-tier engineering. After years of focused research and development, its flagship model—the F77—has emerged as a global benchmark in electric motorcycle performance, safety, and technology. The company is now scaling up production, strengthening its R&D capabilities, expanding its sales network, and preparing to enter international markets.

“Our industry is evolving fast, and Ultraviolette is at the forefront of this transformation,” said Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette. “The investment from TDK Ventures strengthens our roadmap, from enhancing battery technologies to developing smart vehicle systems. This alliance boosts our drive to build premium, globally relevant electric mobility solutions.”

Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, added, “Partnering with TDK Ventures will help us continue pushing the boundaries of innovation. Together, we aim to redefine what’s possible in electric mobility by focusing on safety, intelligence, and efficiency.”

TDK Ventures focuses on supporting groundbreaking startups in energy, mobility, and sustainability—critical sectors reshaping the global economy. Its recent investment in Ultraviolette aligns with its mission to foster forward-thinking technologies and promote clean, scalable transportation. This partnership places TDK Ventures at the heart of India’s growing electric two-wheeler movement.

Ravi Jain, Investment Director at TDK Ventures, stated, “We’re proud to support Ultraviolette’s vision for high-performance electric mobility.
