Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Telecommunications, has been conferred the HR Excellence Award at the Fortune Leadership Awards 2025, held at Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi. The award recognizes TCIL’s outstanding achievements in human resource development, innovation, inclusivity, and employee-centric practices.
The award was presented by Dr Dinesh Upadhyay, Former Member, Ministry of AYUSH, and MS Nethrapal, IRS, and was received by P Suresh Babu, CGM (HR), in the presence of eminent leaders from across industries. Between 2021 and 2025, TCIL carried out a series of transformative HR reforms to build a future-ready workforce aligned with Mission Karmayogi. These included the implementation of a comprehensive HR policy, functional restructuring to enhance accountability, merit-based promotions, timely Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs), performance-linked management systems, structured reward mechanisms, and the digitization of HR processes through E-Office and ERP platforms.
TCIL placed a strong focus on skill enhancement, with 58 executives earning international certifications in areas such as cybersecurity, networking, and auditing. This investment in upskilling has strengthened the organization’s ability to deliver on high-value national and international projects, reinforcing its leadership in telecom consultancy and infrastructure.
