Tata Technologies and BMW Group Form Joint Venture – BMW TechWorks India

Tata Technologies and BMW Group have announced the formation of BMW TechWorks India, a new joint venture aimed at developing cutting-edge software solutions for next-generation vehicles and enhancing digital experiences. This partnership will leverage Tata Technologies’ expertise across the entire product value chain and tap into India’s vast pool of engineering and IT talent to drive innovation in key software projects for BMW’s future mobility solutions.

The joint venture will play a crucial role in developing software-defined vehicles (SDVs), advanced driver-assistance systems, digital infotainment, and automotive digital services. It will also contribute to BMW Group’s global digital transformation efforts, enhancing their customer journey, sales processes, and global production network. A key focus will be on creating AI-driven platforms to improve the speed and efficiency of business processes across the company.

This partnership opens up opportunities for Indian professionals to work on breakthrough technologies that will help shape the future of global mobility. The venture will also help strengthen India’s position as a hub for automotive innovation.

The leadership of BMW TechWorks India includes Aditya Khera as CEO and Sweta Girinatham as CFO, representing Tata Technologies. From BMW Group, Stefan Flader serves as COO of Enterprise IT, and Oliver Scheickl as COO of Automotive Software.
