Tata Steel has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia’s InQuik Group to bring advanced modular bridge-building technology to India. This collaboration combines InQuik’s innovative bridge systems with Tata Steel’s manufacturing capabilities, paving the way for efficient, scalable infrastructure that addresses the evolving needs of India’s transport sector.
This alliance enables Tata Steel to expand its reach in the infrastructure segment by integrating value-added solutions into its product portfolio. The incorporation of InQuik’s modular systems supports Tata Steel’s broader objective of offering cutting-edge construction technologies that align with the country’s infrastructure growth.
Tata Steel’s CEO and MD, T V Narendran, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering intelligent and sustainable building solutions. He noted that the partnership with InQuik reflects Tata Steel’s efforts to modernize construction practices and contribute meaningfully to India’s infrastructure journey.
InQuik Group’s CEO, Logan Mullaney, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, calling it a major step in expanding the company’s global presence. He highlighted the potential of their rapid and durable bridge technology to improve connectivity across India, especially in remote and underserved regions.
This joint initiative is expected to support India’s infrastructure goals by offering quicker, cost-effective alternatives to conventional bridge construction. Using prefabricated steel formwork filled with concrete on-site, InQuik’s system enables fast deployment while ensuring strength and durability. The partnership also reinforces Tata Steel’s strategy of evolving from a raw material provider to a complete construction solution partner.
