Tata Power, one of India’s leading integrated power companies, has reported strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY25. The company posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹1,306 crore, a 25% increase year-on-year (YoY). Revenue for the quarter reached ₹17,328 crore, marking a 7% YoY growth. EBITDA for Q4FY25 rose by 14% to ₹3,829 crore, driven by robust performance across its core business areas—generation, transmission and distribution (T&D), and renewables.

For the full financial year, Tata Power achieved its highest-ever annual revenue of ₹64,502 crore. PAT for FY25 grew 26% to ₹5,197 crore, surpassing the ₹5,000 crore milestone for the first time. EBITDA for the year also set a new record, rising 14% to ₹14,468 crore.

Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Power, commented, “FY25 has been a landmark year for us, driven by strong contributions across all our business segments. The 22nd consecutive quarter of PAT growth is a significant achievement, and we’ve also surpassed 1 GW in renewable capacity additions within a single year. Our rooftop solar business has crossed 1.5 lakh installations, and our manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli has produced over 3,000 MW of modules.”

Tata Power’s growth trajectory includes remarkable achievements, such as tripling PAT from Odisha Discoms in Q4FY25 and strong results across its renewable energy projects. The company is on track to add 2 GW in renewable capacity in FY26.

In Maharashtra, Tata Power operates an installed capacity of 2,743 MW, including thermal, hydro, wind, and solar power. The company is also advancing projects to develop 2,800 MW of pumped hydro storage capacity, which will help stabilize the grid and enable seamless integration of solar and wind energy. Tata Power has also secured a major 400 MW wind-solar hybrid project, reinforcing the state’s renewable energy efforts and contributing to a reduction in carbon emissions. Additionally, its solar arm is providing 300 MWp of ALMM-certified modules for the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 initiative.

Tata Power, a key player in India’s energy sector and part of the Tata Group, operates a diverse 15.6 GW portfolio across the power generation, transmission, distribution, and solar manufacturing sectors. As a leader in the country’s clean energy transformation, Tata Power generates 6.7 GW of clean energy, accounting for 43% of its total capacity. The company is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2045 and has formed numerous partnerships across the public and private sectors to advance India’s energy goals, serving approximately 12.5 million customers nationwide.
