Established in 2010 and spanning 1100 acres, including a 359-acre Vendor Park, the Sanand plant is a cornerstone of Tata Motors‘ manufacturing excellence. With over 6000 direct and indirect employees, the facility is among the most advanced and youngest plants within the Tata Motors network. It boasts the latest technology, including press, weld, paint, assembly, and powertrain shops. The facility’s flexible production line supports the manufacturing of multiple passenger vehicle models, showcasing Tata Motors’ commitment to diversity and efficiency in its product offerings.
Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, expressed his pride in this achievement, “This milestone showcases the high standards we set for ourselves and our commitment to our customers.
