Tata Motors Begins Deliveries of Locally-Manufactured Range Rover Sport

Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, announced on Tuesday the start of deliveries for the locally-produced Range Rover Sport. This marks the completion of the Range Rover lineup being manufactured in India, according to the company.

Earlier this year, Jaguar Land Rover revealed plans to produce both the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport at Tata Motors’ Pune facility. The new Range Rover Sport, available with both petrol and diesel engine options, is priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom).

Rajan Amba, Managing Director of JLR India, commented, “This is a significant milestone as we begin deliveries of the locally-manufactured Range Rover Sport. With this addition, the entire Range Rover portfolio is now produced in India, expanding our local manufacturing footprint to six vehicles in the lineup.”

Available in both petrol and diesel engines, the new Range Rover Sport is priced at Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom), the company said. Jaguar Land Rover, a prominent British automotive manufacturer, is known for producing luxury vehicles that blend high performance with advanced technology.
