Tata Elxsi, a global design and technology services provider, and Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan have inaugurated the SUZUKI–TATA ELXSI Cloud HIL Center in Trivandrum. This is Suzuki’s first full-vehicle cloud-enabled Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation facility and the second major engineering hub under the Tata Elxsi–Suzuki partnership, following the Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Pune.

Katsuhiro Kato, Director and Executive Vice President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, said, “The new Cloud HIL Center leverages Tata Elxsi’s engineering expertise to create an advanced, efficient development ecosystem. Through virtualization, we aim to minimize energy use and make meaningful contributions to next-generation mobility.”

This new facility builds upon the Pune ODC and represents a significant step forward in our software-defined vehicle collaboration. It reflects our shared commitment to sustainable, smarter mobility.”

The Cloud HIL Center is built to support evolving vehicle architectures, offering modular and future-ready frameworks for agile integration, system reliability, and long-term value creation. By combining Tata Elxsi’s engineering scale with localization capabilities, the center is positioned to accelerate global vehicle programs from concept to deployment.
