Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) has successfully delivered the 300th fuselage for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter from its cutting-edge facility. These fuselages are produced for global customers, including the U.S. Army and the Indian Army.
The Indian Air Force operates a fleet of 22 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. This milestone underscores TBAL’s ongoing commitment to strengthening India’s defense capabilities and advancing indigenous manufacturing, the company stated.
The Boeing-TASL joint venture employs over 900 engineers and technicians, integrating advanced robotics, automation, and cutting-edge aerospace technologies into its manufacturing processes.
Spanning 14,000 square meters, TBAL’s facility is the exclusive global supplier of Apache fuselages. Over 90% of the components used in Apache aerostructure assemblies are sourced from India, with contributions from more than 100 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), according to the release.
