Sify Infinit Spaces Limited, a leading name in India’s data center landscape, has officially launched South India’s largest AI-optimized data center campus in Siruseri, Tamil Nadu. The inauguration ceremony was led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru MK Stalin, with the Hon’ble Minister for MSMEs Thiru TM Anbarasan and Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce Dr TRB Rajaa also in attendance.
The new facility aligns with the Tamil Nadu government’s mission to make the state a key hub for digital infrastructure. This platinum-rated Green Data Center, certified by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), underlines Sify’s focus on energy-efficient and environmentally responsible operations.
Designed to eventually support up to 130 MW of IT load, the Siruseri campus features India’s only on-premise open cable landing station, significantly boosting international connectivity and network speeds. Sify aims to run the campus entirely on renewable energy and manage it with sustainable building practices.
Sify Chairman & MD Raju Vegesna shared that the company’s total investment now exceeds ₹10,000 crore, with plans to generate 10,000 jobs. The facility will serve as a vital foundation for AI and cloud-driven enterprises across India.
