Taiwan made a powerful impact at EMO 2025 with 121 exhibitors, securing the fourth spot globally. Under the theme “AI Shaping the Future,” Taiwan demonstrated how artificial intelligence is redefining manufacturing with higher precision, better efficiency, and greener operations.

At the Taiwan AI-Driven Machine Tool Industry Executive Dialogue, leaders highlighted Taiwan’s complete ecosystem—covering electronics, ICT, semiconductors, and machinery—that is fueling faster AI integration in machine tools. Key demonstrations at the event showcased how Taiwan is integrating AI into machine tool technology to enhance performance and efficiency.

Cosen Precision presented its AI-enabled sawing systems, designed to significantly boost efficiency and stability, particularly for aerospace applications where precision is critical. She Hong highlighted its AI-driven thermal compensation technology, which improves mold machining accuracy by as much as 60 percent. This advancement addresses a major challenge in high-precision manufacturing, reducing errors caused by thermal distortion and ensuring consistent quality.

HOSEA Precision introduced its AIoT platform, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their digital transformation. The platform enables predictive diagnostics, helping businesses reduce downtime, while also delivering energy savings for more sustainable operations.

Industry associations TAMI and TMBA emphasized Taiwan’s transition from competing on price to competing on value, supporting digital transformation and launching a knowledge-sharing platform to speed up AI adoption. Taiwan will continue its momentum by presenting fresh innovations at TMTS 2026 in Taichung (AI Empowerment, Smart & Sustainable Manufacturing) and TIMTOS 2027 in Taipei (AI Fully Integrated into Smart Manufacturing).

Covering sectors from aerospace to automotive, and ranging from complete machines to critical components, Taiwan’s AI-powered machine tool industry is moving quickly and is poised to play a key role in the global manufacturing evolution.
