Swastika Infra Limited, a power transmission and distribution and renewable energy infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company, has secured a Letter of Award worth approximately ₹615.76 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).

The order covers the development of distribution infrastructure and system strengthening works in the Bhandup Zone of Maharashtra. It is the largest single order secured by Swastika Infra since its establishment and marks a major expansion of the company’s project portfolio.

The value of the contract is approximately 1.2 times the company’s reported FY2026 revenue of ₹504 crore. Following the latest order win, Swastika Infra’s unexecuted order book has increased to approximately ₹1,400 crore, compared with ₹687 crore in March 2026.

The company said the new contract strengthens its project pipeline and provides greater visibility for future execution and revenue growth. The order also follows its recently concluded initial public offering (IPO), through which it raised approximately ₹130 crore in equity capital.

The project involves a broad range of power distribution infrastructure works. These include the construction of new substations, high-tension and low-tension lines, distribution transformers, upgrades to existing infrastructure, underground cabling and renovation work. The scope also includes geographic information system (GIS) mapping, asset tagging and other related activities.

The project is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), in line with Swastika Infra’s focus on projects supported by multilateral development institutions. Swastika Infra independently participated in the tender and secured the contract based on its financial and technical qualifications, developed through more than 15 years of project execution experience.

The company said the order strengthens its credentials for larger and more complex power infrastructure projects. It also expands its presence in Maharashtra, one of India’s major power-consuming states, where investment in transmission and distribution infrastructure remains important to meeting electricity demand.

The latest contract further supports Swastika Infra’s position as a multi-state EPC player. The company currently has operations across nine states and provides turnkey solutions covering substations, underground cabling, transmission and distribution lines, electrification and related infrastructure.

The increase in its unexecuted order book from ₹687 crore in March to approximately ₹1,400 crore in October 2026 represents a substantial expansion in its pending project portfolio. The company expects this larger pipeline to support its growth plans and strengthen its ability to pursue projects across additional markets.

Headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Swastika Infra focuses on power transmission and distribution infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Its operations cover the project execution lifecycle, from infrastructure development to associated installation and allied works.

The MSEDCL contract provides the company with an opportunity to strengthen its position in Maharashtra’s power infrastructure market while expanding its portfolio of large-scale distribution projects. With the new order, Swastika Infra aims to build on its existing execution capabilities, expand its geographical reach and pursue further opportunities in the power infrastructure sector. The company’s focus on projects funded by multilateral development agencies remains an important part of its business strategy.
