Swachh Bio, a biofuels manufacturing company, will set up a 250 kilolitres per day second-generation biofuels plant in Telangana. The company will invest over ₹1,000 crore in the first phase, creating jobs for 250 people at the plant and 250 more in support roles.
The decision was announced by Swachh Bio chairperson Praveen Paripati during a meeting with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, who are visiting the United States. Swachh Bio’s international partner, Suganit Biorenewables, has developed a technology to produce biofuels and biochemicals from biomass and cellulose, supporting Telangana’s push for sustainable growth.
The Telangana government promised full support for the investment. Mr. Paripati praised the state’s vision of decentralized development and expressed excitement about partnering with the state for future growth.
